From Wazuka to your cup.

We travelled to the Japanese village of Wazuka in Kyoto to meet the farmers in person and bring back matcha that is worth the journey.

How it began

It began with a wish for something more.

the matcha koncept began with a wish to bring more than just good matcha. We travelled to Japan ourselves, to the village of Wazuka in Kyoto prefecture, where we met the farmers, learnt their craft and built lasting relationships.

It wasn’t only about the product. It was about understanding a culture and a craft handed down across generations.

Matcha is more than a drink for us. It’s a ritual, a way of living, a moment for yourself. From Japan straight to you. This is our concept.

What we do differently

Always the first harvest

We work only with ichibancha, the finest spring harvest. No compromises, even if it means selling less.

From the Wazuka valley

We source our matcha from a small valley in Kyoto, where quality is measured in decades of care, not in marketing.

No middlemen

We work directly with the farmer. No middle step, no anonymous blends, no untraceable routes.

Events & collaborations

Pop-ups, tastings, collaborations.

We host occasional tastings and workshops, run pop-up matcha bars at events, and gladly collaborate with cafes, hotels and brands that share our care for the small things.
